The company delivers technology solutions and services designed to empower and protect security-conscious organizations across government and commercial sectors, with particular expertise in cyber governance, risk and compliance, identity and biometric solutions, secure networks, and organizational messaging.

The company operates through two reportable segments: Security Solutions and Secure Networks. Security Solutions, representing approximately 90.8 percent of fiscal 2025 revenues, encompasses cyber governance, risk and compliance automation through the Xacta platform, cybersecurity services including risk management framework consulting and security assessments, the Telos Automated Message Handling System for mission-critical organizational communications, and identity solutions including TSA PreCheck enrollment services, biometric technologies, and identity verification platforms. Secure Networks, comprising 9.2 percent of revenues, provides secure mobility solutions and network management and defense services supporting enterprise and government customers.

Telos serves primarily the U.S. federal government, which accounted for approximately 91 percent of fiscal 2025 revenues, along with large commercial organizations, state and local governments, and international customers. The company's federal government customers include the Department of War, intelligence community agencies, and civilian departments including Homeland Security, Justice, Energy, and others. Commercial customers encompass major technology, communications, and professional services firms.

As of December 31, 2025, Telos employed 525 full-time employees, with approximately 90.1 percent located in the United States. Approximately 309 U.S.-based employees held security clearances, and 23 percent self-identified as military veterans. The company maintains proprietary software platforms including Xacta for cyber risk management, ONYX for biometric authentication, and IDVetting for identity verification. Telos competes on technical capabilities, experience serving security-conscious customers, ability to obtain and maintain security clearances, solution quality and reliability, and capacity to anticipate emerging technological requirements in fragmented markets characterized by no dominant competitor.
