The company operates through three primary business segments: PeopleReady, PeopleManagement, and PeopleSolutions. In fiscal 2025, TrueBlue connected approximately 291,000 people with work and served approximately 53,000 clients across diverse industries including construction, manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, distribution, energy, transportation, retail, and hospitality.

PeopleReady, the largest segment, provides on-demand and contingent staffing solutions through a network of physical branches across all 50 U.S. states and Puerto Rico, supplemented by the proprietary JobStack mobile application. The segment also offers skilled trades staffing through brands including PeopleReady Skilled Trades and RenewableWorks, utilizing the Stafftrack workforce management software. PeopleManagement delivers contingent workforce management services through Staff Management and SIMOS brands, specializing in labor-intensive manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution, along with commercial driver staffing through the Centerline brand. PeopleSolutions focuses on professional and specialized talent acquisition through recruitment process outsourcing, managed service provider solutions, and talent advisory services under the PeopleScout brand, as well as healthcare professional staffing through the Healthcare Staffing Professionals brand.

The company employs approximately 3,500 full-time equivalent employees globally, with roughly 2,600 in North America, 700 in Asia Pacific, and 200 in Europe. TrueBlue's competitive advantages include its extensive national footprint, proprietary technology platforms including JobStack, Stafftrack, and Affinix, specialized industry expertise, and integrated workforce solutions spanning contingent staffing to permanent recruitment.
