The company operates through two primary reportable segments. The Battery & Energy Products segment generates the majority of revenues and encompasses non-rechargeable Lithium batteries including 9-volt, cylindrical, and thin cell configurations, as well as rechargeable Lithium-ion and Nickel Metal Hydride batteries, charging systems, and accessories. The Communications Systems segment designs and manufactures RF amplifiers, power supplies, cables, connector assemblies, integrated communication systems, and related military and commercial communications equipment.
Ultralife maintains manufacturing and operational facilities across North America, Europe, and Asia, including locations in Newark New York, Shenzhen China, Newcastle-under-Lyme United Kingdom, Calgary Canada, Missouri City Texas, Virginia Beach Virginia, and Raynham Massachusetts. The company serves customers through direct sales to original equipment manufacturers, industrial and defense supply distributors, and U.S. and foreign government agencies.
The company's product portfolio includes established brands such as Ultralife HiRate, Ultralife Thin Cell, LithiumPower, AMTI, Accutronics, Excell Battery Group, and Electrochem.
