Verrica's commercial product is YCANTH (VP-102), a proprietary drug-device combination containing a GMP-controlled formulation of cantharidin that received FDA approval in July 2023 for treating molluscum contagiosum in patients aged two years and older. This represents the first FDA-approved product for molluscum treatment. The company has built a specialized sales organization of approximately 40 field sales representatives focused on pediatric dermatologists, dermatologists, pediatricians, and primary care providers across the United States. YCANTH is distributed through white bag pharmacy services and buy-and-bill arrangements with wholesale distribution partners. The company has secured insurance coverage for approximately 250 million covered lives in the United States and received a permanent J-code (J7354) for reimbursement effective April 2024.
