Viper Energy, Inc. (Nasdaq: VNOM) owns and acquires mineral and royalty interests in oil and natural gas properties, primarily in the Permian Basin. Its interests are generally leased to working-interest owners, who fund drilling, development and operating costs, while Viper receives royalty income from production. The company operates as one reportable segment. Following its 2025 acquisition of Sitio Royalties, Viper divested its non-Permian assets in February 2026 and focused its portfolio on its core Permian acreage. At December 31, 2025, it held approximately 96,003 net royalty acres, and average net production for the year was 95,126 BOE per day. Its business developed from Viper Energy Partners LP, which converted to a corporation in 2023; the 2025 Sitio acquisition expanded its mineral and royalty holdings.
