Vuzix Corporation (NASDAQ: VUZI) designs, manufactures, and markets AI-enabled smart glasses, waveguides, and augmented reality display technologies for enterprise, medical, defense, security, and select consumer applications. The company's website is www.vuzix.com.
The company's core product portfolio includes near-eye displays, heads-up displays, and wearable computing devices that provide hands-free computing and near-eye visualization. Vuzix offers both Vuzix-branded smart glasses and proprietary waveguide optics and display engines designed for integration into third-party original design manufacturer and original equipment manufacturer devices. The smart glasses lineup includes monocular models such as the M400, M4000, and Blade 2, as well as binocular offerings like the Shield featuring microLED displays. The Ultralite Z100 provides lightweight enterprise-focused solutions with extended battery life, while the recently introduced LX1 targets warehouse and logistics applications. The company also provides the Mobilium logistics mobility software platform through its Moviynt subsidiary, acquired in 2022, which supports smart glasses and handheld devices in logistics, warehousing, and manufacturing.
Vuzix operates through direct sales, value-added resellers, distributors, and ODM/OEM partnerships globally. The company maintains manufacturing facilities in West Henrietta, New York, where it performs final product assembly and operates a dedicated cleanroom facility for waveguide optics production. In April 2025, Vuzix acquired an advanced waveguide research and development facility in Milpitas, California to support next-generation smart glasses development.
