Xos, Inc. (Nasdaq: XOS) operates as an industrial accelerant for the modern energy era, transforming power infrastructures into scalable solutions for commercial fleet electrification and mobile energy deployment. The company's website is www.xos.com.
Xos produces three complementary primary product lines. Xos Energy Solutions includes the Xos Hub, a mobile charging and energy storage platform available in 210 kWh, 420 kWh, and 630 kWh configurations designed for fleet charging operations, construction sites, utilities, and data centers. Xos Vehicles manufactures Class 5 and Class 6 battery-electric commercial vehicles for last-mile and back-to-base delivery routes, featuring modular chassis platforms with multiple body options including commercial stepvans, armored trucks, uniform rental vehicles, and food and beverage configurations. Powered by Xos provides mixed-use powertrain solutions for off-highway and industrial equipment, including school buses, medical clinics, and specialty vehicles. The company also offers Xosphere, a proprietary fleet management software platform providing real-time telematics, charging optimization, and maintenance management.
The company's vehicles utilize lithium iron phosphate battery technology sourced through industry partners, designed to deliver eight to twelve years of service life in commercial operations. Xos vehicles have demonstrated over 200 stops per day in deployed fleets with less than two to three percent battery degradation after 24 months of service.
Xos serves a diverse customer base including major national accounts such as United Parcel Service, FedEx, Waymo, Caltrans, and Blue Bird Corporation, alongside small and medium-sized regional fleets. The company maintains manufacturing capabilities at its Byrdstown, Tennessee facility, capable of producing chassis, battery systems, Hub units, and powertrain kits. Additional operations include research and development activities and vehicle servicing in Los Angeles, California, and service locations across California, Texas, New Jersey, New York, Minnesota, and Canada.
In March 2024, Xos completed the acquisition of ElectraMeccanica Vehicles Corp., expanding its product portfolio and manufacturing capabilities. The company holds eight awarded U.S. patents and maintains 23 pending or approved trademark applications protecting its intellectual property and brand identity.
