What Zevia PBC does
In the company’s own words
Zevia PBC (NYSE: ZVIA) operates as a better-for-you beverage company focused on developing, marketing, selling, and distributing naturally delicious, zero sugar beverages. The company's website is located at https://www.zevia.com. As a Delaware public benefit corporation and Certified B Corporation, Zevia addresses global health challenges resulting from excess sugar consumption by offering a broad portfolio of zero sugar, zero calorie, naturally sweetened beverages made with simple ingredients, no artificial sweeteners, and no artificial colors.
The company's product portfolio consists of three primary categories. Soda represents the flagship product line and comprises approximately 95 percent of net sales, offering 20 flavors across multiple pack configurations as the better-for-you alternative to conventional and diet sodas. Energy drinks contain 120 milligrams of organic caffeine and are available in eight flavors, primarily distributed through natural and e-commerce channels. Tea products, offered in eight flavors including one caffeine-free option, are being discontinued in 2026. All Zevia beverages are exclusively sweetened with highly purified stevia extract and are Non-GMO Project verified, gluten-free, Kosher, and vegan.
Zevia distributes its products across the United States and Canada through more than 39,000 retail locations spanning grocery, drug, warehouse club, mass, natural, convenience, and e-commerce channels. The company has sold over 2.6 billion cans to date. Products are manufactured and warehoused through relationships with three contract manufacturers operating facilities across the U.S. and Canada. The company maintains a diversified stevia sourcing strategy with capability to procure from three qualified entities, with contractual arrangements in place with two suppliers.
As of December 31, 2025, Zevia employed 88 full-time team members in the United States and 3 in Canada, with no unionized workforce. The company emphasizes sustainability through exclusive use of aluminum beverage cans rather than plastic bottles, estimating avoidance of over 34,000 metric tons of plastic since founding in 2007. Zevia consumers are characterized as health-conscious, affluent, and less price-sensitive than traditional soft drink consumers, with demonstrated loyalty and increased spending over time.
