Fund profile

As filed in the prospectus · 2026 Q2

The First Trust Value Line Dividend Index Fund (the Fund ) seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield (before the Funds fees and expenses) of an equity index called the Value Line Dividend Index (the Index ).

Strategy · summarised

The fund tracks the Value Line Dividend Index using an indexing approach, holding securities that receive a Value Line Safety Ranking of #1 or #2, pay above-average dividends relative to the S&P 500, and meet size requirements; the index equally weights its constituents and reconstitutes monthly. Because the Safety Ranking System assigns ranks weekly while the index reconstitutes monthly, the fund may hold securities no longer assigned a #1 or #2 safety rank for the remainder of a monthly period.
