Fund profile
As filed in the prospectus · 2026 Q1
The investment objective of the Dimensional U.S. Targeted Value ETF (the US Targeted Value ETF or Portfolio) is to achieve long-term capital appreciation while minimizing federal income taxes on returns.
The fund actively selects small- and mid-cap U.S. companies trading at low prices relative to book value and exhibiting high profitability, using a market-capitalization-weighted approach and adjusting positions based on shorter-term factors including price momentum and investment characteristics. The fund emphasizes tax efficiency by realizing capital losses to offset gains and prioritizing long-term gains over short-term ones. Because the fund's selection criteria and shorter-term adjustments are discretionary and subject to change, its holdings and performance may diverge materially from the small- and mid-cap value segment of the U.S. market.
