The investment objective of the Fund is to seek total return (consisting of capital appreciation and income).
The fund is managed by Newton Investment Management North America, LLC, which selects dividend-paying stocks using computer modeling, fundamental analysis, and risk management, with an emphasis on value characteristics and sector weightings similar to the S&P 500 Value Index. The fund invests at least 80% of assets in equities, which may include common stocks, preferred stocks, convertible securities, and ADRs, and may employ covered call strategies and derivatives to enhance income and returns. The fund may also hold fixed income securities and money market instruments, with up to 15% in foreign securities.
