Fund profile

As filed in the prospectus · 2025 Q3

To seek to provide investment results that closely correspond, before fees and expenses, to the performance of the John Hancock Dimensional Mid Cap Index (the Index).

Strategy · summarised

The fund tracks the John Hancock Dimensional Mid Cap Index using a rules-based multifactor approach that adjusts the market-capitalization weights of mid-cap U.S. companies based on size, relative price, and profitability, with individual securities capped at 4% at reconstitution. The index favors smaller market capitalizations, lower relative valuations, and higher profitability within the mid-cap universe, and is reconstituted semiannually. Because the fund replicates the index through a portfolio of securities, its performance will diverge from the index to the extent the fund's holdings and weightings differ from the index constituents.
