Fund profile

As filed in the prospectus · 2026 Q1

The Funds primary investment goal is to provide a level of current income which exceeds the average yield on U.S. stocks generally, and which will generally grow, subject to periodic fluctuations, over the years on a per share basis.

Strategy · summarised

The fund invests in a diversified portfolio of income-producing securities, primarily stocks and bonds selected by Thornburg Investment Management for their ability to generate current income, with at least 50% in common stocks and at least 80% overall in income-producing securities. Equity holdings emphasize dividend-paying companies, including smaller-cap and international stocks, while debt holdings span all credit qualities including high-yield bonds with no minimum rating requirement. Because performance depends on Thornburg's security selection and the fund may hold convertible bonds and other hybrid instruments alongside equities and debt of varying maturities and credit quality, results will diverge from any broad market benchmark.

The outer band is exposure held short — written against the portfolio rather than part of it, which is why it sits outside the ring and why the two are never netted into one figure.

Cumulative return· Jul 2023 – Apr 2026

May 2026 and Jun 2026 have been filed since the trailing figures were struck, so they are not in the table above or the curve — every figure here shares one cut-off, which is what makes them comparable with other funds.
