Fund profile

As filed in the prospectus · 2026 Q2

Vanguard Mega Cap Value ETF, an exchange-traded share class of Vanguard Mega Cap Value Index Fund (the Fund), seeks to track the performance of a benchmark index that measures the investment return of large-capitalization value stocks in the United States.

Strategy · summarised

The fund tracks the CRSP U.S. Mega Cap Value Index through full replication, holding all or substantially all index constituents in their index weights to capture the performance of value-oriented stocks among the largest U.S. companies. Because the fund attempts to hold each stock in approximately the same proportion as the Target Index, its returns will diverge from the index to the extent it does not achieve perfect replication.

The outer band is exposure held short — written against the portfolio rather than part of it, which is why it sits outside the ring and why the two are never netted into one figure.

Derivatives are shown at market value, not notional exposure.

These classes hold the same portfolio, so the 0.12pp spread over 5 years is the cost difference between them — roughly 0.02pp a year — not a difference in what they own.

Cumulative return· Jun 2023 – Apr 2026

May 2026 has been filed since the trailing figures were struck, so it is not in the table above or the curve — every figure here shares one cut-off, which is what makes them comparable with other funds.
