The company maintains its principal operations in the Homestake Mining District of South Dakota, where it holds 100% ownership of mineral properties comprising 2,147 unpatented claims and surface leases or ownership covering more than 49,500 acres. Dakota Gold's primary properties include Maitland, the Barrick Option, Richmond Hill, and other prospects within the Homestake District.
