What Dyne Therapeutics, Inc. does

In the company’s own words

Dyne Therapeutics, Inc. (Nasdaq: DYN) is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing functional improvement therapies for people living with genetically driven neuromuscular diseases. The company's proprietary FORCE platform leverages the transferrin receptor 1 to deliver targeted therapeutics to muscle tissue and the central nervous system. The platform utilizes an antigen-binding fragment antibody targeting TfR1 conjugated to rationally designed payloads, including oligonucleotides and enzymes, that address the genetic basis of disease.

Dyne's pipeline includes multiple product candidates in varying stages of preclinical and clinical development. The company's lead program, zeleciment rostudirsen, is being evaluated in the DELIVER Phase 1/2 trial for Duchenne muscular dystrophy amenable to exon 51 skipping, with plans for a U.S. Accelerated Approval submission in the second quarter of 2026. Zeleciment basivarsen is in the ACHIEVE Phase 1/2 trial for myotonic dystrophy type 1, with anticipated U.S. Accelerated Approval submission planned for early third quarter of 2027. Additional development candidates target facioscapulohumeral dystrophy and Pompe disease, with plans to expand into additional neuromuscular indications.

The company employs over 250 individuals with expertise spanning discovery, preclinical research, manufacturing, clinical development, and commercial operations. Dyne maintains global commercial rights to all its programs and has established scientific and clinical advisory boards comprising leading experts in muscle disease drug discovery and nucleic acid therapeutics.

The company's strategy centers on advancing its co-lead product candidates through development and commercialization, establishing a DMD franchise by expanding to additional patient populations, and building a sustainable leadership position in neuromuscular diseases. Dyne has received multiple regulatory designations including Breakthrough Therapy, Fast Track, Rare Pediatric Disease, and Orphan Drug designations for its lead programs from the FDA and EMA. The company operates with a patient-focused culture emphasizing commitment to delivering life-transforming therapeutics for serious neuromuscular diseases.
