What ESAB Corp does

In the company’s own words

ESAB Corporation (NYSE: ESAB) is a focused premier industrial compounder founded in 1904 that provides fabrication technology, advanced equipment, consumables, gas control equipment, robotics, and digital solutions to customers worldwide. The company operates through two reportable segments: Americas, which includes North America and South America operations, and EMEA & APAC, which encompasses Europe, the Middle East, India, Africa, and Asia Pacific. For the fiscal year ended December 31, 2025, the Americas segment represented approximately 40 percent of net sales while EMEA & APAC accounted for 60 percent.

The company formulates, develops, manufactures, and supplies consumable products and equipment including cutting and joining technologies, welding robotics, and gas control equipment marketed under several brand names, most notably ESAB. Its products serve a highly diversified customer base across multiple industrial end markets through a combination of direct sales and third-party distribution channels. Approximately 52 percent of 2025 revenues were derived from high-growth markets including South America, Eastern Europe, India, Asia Pacific, and the Middle East, which are expected to grow at rates exceeding developed markets.

As of December 31, 2025, ESAB employed approximately 10,300 associates, with roughly 1,100 in the United States and 9,200 internationally across principal manufacturing facilities in 16 countries outside the United States. The company serves customers in approximately 150 countries and competes in a market estimated to reach approximately 45 billion dollars by the end of 2028.

The company's business model emphasizes continuous improvement through its proprietary ESAB Business Excellence methodology, which integrates culture, values, tools, and repeatable processes designed to drive operational excellence and create superior value for customers, stockholders, and associates. Acquisitions represent a core strategic component, with four acquisitions completed during 2025 and additional acquisitions expected in the future.
