What Flowco Holdings Inc. does
In the company’s own words
Flowco Holdings Inc. (NYSE: FLOC) is a leading provider of production optimization, artificial lift and emissions management and monetization solutions for the oil and natural gas industry. The company operates through two primary business segments: Production Solutions and Natural Gas Technologies. Flowco's comprehensive product portfolio includes high pressure gas lift systems, conventional gas lift equipment, plunger lift solutions, vapor recovery units, and proprietary digital technologies that enable real-time remote monitoring and control of production assets.
The company maintains an extensive installed fleet of over 4,600 active systems deployed across every major onshore oil and natural gas producing region in the United States. Flowco operates manufacturing and repair facilities in El Reno, Oklahoma; Houston, Fort Worth, Kilgore and Pampa, Texas; and Lafayette, Louisiana, with major service facilities in Midland, Texas; Carlsbad, New Mexico; and Williston, North Dakota. The company serves substantially all of the top U.S. oil and natural gas producers, including supermajors and large independent producers, with a diversified customer base that provides stable, recurring revenue streams.
Flowco's business model is built on the production phase of the well lifecycle, which generates revenues throughout the decades-long productive lives of oil and natural gas wells. This focus on production optimization rather than drilling and completion services creates more durable and stable cash flows compared to cyclical oilfield services. The company's vertically integrated supply chain encompasses domestic manufacturing of core technologies including high pressure gas lift systems, vapor recovery units, surface gas lift systems, and gas lift valves, which drives technological leadership and operational efficiency.
The company was formed through a 2024 business combination involving Estis Compression, Flogistix, and Flowco Production Solutions, followed by an initial public offering completed on January 15, 2025. Flowco's competitive strengths include market leadership in production optimization and artificial lift solutions, proprietary technologies such as high pressure gas lift pioneered by Estis, integrated service offerings across the well lifecycle, and a strong balance sheet supporting continued growth and strategic opportunities.
