(NYSE: JELD) is a leading global designer, manufacturer, and distributor of high-performance interior and exterior doors, windows, and related building products serving the new construction and repair and remodel sectors. The company operates through two reportable segments: North America and Europe, with a diversified portfolio spanning approximately 75 countries.
The company's product portfolio is organized into three main categories. Doors represent 68% of net revenues and include residential interior and exterior doors, patio doors, and folding or sliding wall systems, along with non-residential offerings concentrated in Europe. Windows account for 19% of net revenues and comprise residential wood and vinyl windows in North America, along with non-residential vinyl windows for commercial applications. Other ancillary products and services, representing 13% of revenues, include glass, hardware, locks, window screens, and molded door skins.
JELD-WEN operates 76 manufacturing and distribution facilities across 14 countries in North America and Europe. The company employs approximately 13,900 people, with roughly 8,200 in North America and corporate operations and 5,700 in Europe. The company's brand portfolio includes JELD-WEN worldwide, LaCantina and VPI in North America, and Swedoor, DANA, and Kellpex in Europe. Notable trademarks include AuraLast, a proprietary water-based wood protection process, and various product lines such as ImpactGard and FINISHIELD.
Founded in 1960 by Richard L. Wendt, the company has grown through strategic acquisitions including Norma Doors in Spain in 1992 and more recent acquisitions of ABS, MMI Door, LaCantina Doors, and VPI. In July 2023, the company divested its Australasia business. The company generated net revenues of $3.21 billion in 2025.
