Fund profile

As filed in the prospectus · 2026 Q2

The First Trust Capital Strength ETF (the Fund ) seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield (before the Funds fees and expenses) of an equity index called The Capital Strength TM Index (the Index ).

Strategy · summarised

The fund tracks The Capital Strength Index, which selects 50 equally weighted U.S. common stocks and REITs screened for strong balance sheets, liquidity, and profitability—specifically requiring at least $1 billion in cash, debt-to-market-cap below 30%, positive equity, and return on equity above 15%—then ranked by volatility and capped at the lowest 15 per industry. The Index reconstitutes quarterly, which may cause elevated portfolio turnover. Because the fund holds all 50 Index constituents in equal weight rather than market-cap weight, its performance will diverge from the broader market.
