Fund profile
As filed in the prospectus · 2026 Q1
State Street Materials Select Sector SPDR ETF (the Fund) seeks to provide investment results that, before expenses, correspond generally to the price and yield performance of publicly traded equity securities of companies in the Materials Select Sector Index (the Index).
The fund employs a replication strategy, holding substantially all securities in the Materials Select Sector Index in approximately the same proportions, with at least 95% of assets invested in Index constituents. The Index comprises 26 companies identified as Materials sector firms by the Global Industry Classification Standard, including chemicals, metals and mining, paper and forest products, containers and packaging, and construction materials. The Index is a modified market-capitalization-weighted subset of the S&P 500, calculated by S&P Dow Jones Indices using a proprietary methodology that adjusts for tax law compliance.

| Stocks | 99.84% |
| Cash & short-term | 0.29% |
| Derivatives | -0.01% |
The outer band is exposure held short — written against the portfolio rather than part of it, which is why it sits outside the ring and why the two are never netted into one figure.
Derivatives are shown at market value, not notional exposure.
