The fund seeks to provide long-term growth of capital.
The fund invests at least 80% of assets in real assets and companies deriving at least 50% of profits or revenues from real assets—including energy, natural resources, real estate, basic materials, utilities, infrastructure, and commodities—selected through bottom-up fundamental analysis to identify high-quality companies expected to outperform during periods of high or rising inflation. The fund maintains significant exposure to real estate through REITs and invests globally across all market capitalizations in both U.S. and non-U.S. companies, including emerging markets. Because security selection depends on the adviser's forecasts of inflation and sector outperformance, fund returns may diverge from broader equity markets.

The outer band is exposure held short — written against the portfolio rather than part of it, which is why it sits outside the ring and why the two are never netted into one figure.

How it has done
PRAFX share class · total returns with dividends reinvested
Volatility over the last 12 months: 17.79%. Past returns are a record, not a forecast.
Jun 2026 has been filed since the trailing figures were struck, so it is not in the table above or the curve — every figure here shares one cut-off, which is what makes them comparable with other funds.
The 3 share classes hold the same portfolio
| Share class | Expense ratio | 1 year | 3 years | 5 years | Worst fall |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 0.90% | +38.79% | +65.29% | +49.63% | -11.55% | |
| 0.67% | +39.22% | +66.47% | +51.44% | -11.54% | |
| 0.00% | +40.09% | +69.99% | +56.69% | -11.29% |
These classes hold the same portfolio, so the 7.06pp spread over 5 years is the cost difference between them — roughly 1.41pp a year — not a difference in what they own.
