Fund profile
As filed in the prospectus · 2025 Q3
Fidelity Growth & Income Portfolio seeks high total return through a combination of current income and capital appreciation.
The fund invests primarily in common stocks selected for current dividend yield and capital appreciation potential, supplemented by bonds including high-yield debt, with at least 80% of assets in growth companies or income-producing securities as of December 2025. The manager uses fundamental analysis of financial condition, industry position, and growth metrics to identify holdings across domestic and foreign markets. Because security selection depends on the manager's assessment of individual issuers' growth prospects and income characteristics, fund performance will diverge from any benchmark.

The outer band is exposure held short — written against the portfolio rather than part of it, which is why it sits outside the ring and why the two are never netted into one figure.
Derivatives are shown at market value, not notional exposure.

Share of the fund’s equity (by value) in companies whose trailing five-year revenue — or net-income — growth ranks in the top 25% of U.S. public companies. Foreign and newly-listed holdings are excluded, so the figure covers only part of the book. From SEC filings — not investment advice. How we measure this.
