Fund profile
As filed in the prospectus · 2025 Q4
The iShares U.S. Equity Factor Rotation Active ETF (the Fund) (formerly known as BlackRock U.S. Equity Factor Rotation ETF) seeks to outperform the investment results of the large- and mid-capitalization U.S. equity markets by providing diversified and tactical exposure to style factors via a factor rotation model.
The fund uses a proprietary factor rotation model to dynamically allocate among large- and mid-cap U.S. stocks across six equity style factors—momentum, quality, value, growth, size, and minimum volatility—tilting toward factors with the strongest near-term return prospects based on economic cycle, valuations, and recent trends. Because factor performance is cyclical and the model's near-term return forecasts may prove incorrect, the fund's returns can diverge materially from the broad U.S. equity market. The fund is actively managed with discretionary daily rebalancing and may hold higher portfolio turnover than an index fund.
