Fund profile
As filed in the prospectus · 2025 Q3
The iShares U.S. Financials ETF (the Fund ) seeks to track the investment results of an index composed of U.S. equities in the financials sector.
The fund tracks the Russell 1000 Financials 40 Act 15/22.5 Daily Capped Index using representative sampling, holding a sample of financials-sector securities with similar characteristics to the index rather than all constituents. The index applies a capping methodology that limits any single issuer to 15% weight and constrains aggregate weight of issuers exceeding 4.5% to 22.5%, with daily monitoring between quarterly rebalances. Because the fund samples rather than fully replicates the index, its returns may diverge from the index it seeks to track.
