Fund profile

As filed in the prospectus · 2025 Q2

The investment objective of the LVIP BlackRock Dividend Value Managed Volatility Fund (the Fund) is to seek reasonable income by investing primarily in income-producing equity securities.

Strategy · summarised

The fund invests primarily in large-capitalization dividend-paying equity securities selected by BlackRock, with approximately 75% allocated to a dividend value strategy and 25% to a quantitative approach replicating the Dow Jones US Dividend 100 Index. A separate overlay manager uses exchange-traded equity index futures to manage overall portfolio volatility, which may limit upside participation in strong markets and could substantially reduce equity exposure during periods of extreme volatility. The fund may invest up to 25% of assets in foreign securities and employs day-to-day management through BlackRock as sub-adviser and Schroders as overlay manager.
