What this fund is
Objective, as filed

The investment objective of the Portfolio is to achieve investment results that generally correspond to the performance of publicly-traded common stocks.

Strategy, summarised

The fund is managed by a subadviser that aims to replicate the S&P 500 Index by holding the same securities in the same proportions, with the exception of Prudential Financial stock, which the subadviser excludes. The fund normally invests at least 80% of assets in S&P 500 common stocks and attempts to remain fully invested while accommodating cash flows. Because the fund excludes one index constituent, its performance will diverge from the S&P 500 Index.
