Fund profile

As filed in the prospectus · 2026 Q2

VIP Mid Cap Portfolio seeks long-term growth of capital.

Strategy · summarised

The fund invests at least 80% of assets in common stocks of companies with medium market capitalizations similar to those in the Russell Midcap Index or S&P MidCap 400 Index, using fundamental analysis of financial condition, industry position, and market conditions to select holdings. The fund may also hold securities of smaller or larger companies and may invest in domestic and foreign issuers across growth and value styles. Because security selection depends on the adviser's analysis rather than index tracking, fund performance may diverge from mid-cap benchmarks.
