Fund profile

As filed in the prospectus · 2025 Q4

The iShares A.I. Innovation and Tech Active ETF (the Fund) (formerly known as BlackRock Future A.I. and Tech ETF) seeks to maximize total return.

Strategy · summarised

The fund invests at least 80% of assets in equity securities of U.S. and non-U.S. companies engaged in artificial intelligence, technology, or technology-related businesses, using a proprietary framework that maps companies across layers of an A.I. stack—from A.I. power and accelerated computing through cloud infrastructure, models, data, tools, applications, and services. Fund management selects holdings based on revenue or net income thresholds and forecasts of future market leadership in A.I. enablement, development, or deployment. The fund is classified as non-diversified under the Investment Company Act and may not invest more than 20% of net assets in any single issuer, concentrating holdings in technology-group industries. Because manager discretion determines which companies qualify as A.I., technology, or technology-related, and the 80% policy is measured in aggregate across all three categories, fund composition depends on those determinations and may diverge materially from any benchmark.
