Fund profile
As filed in the prospectus · 2026 Q1
Alger Capital Appreciation Fund seeks long-term capital appreciation.
The fund invests at least 85% of assets in equity securities of companies exhibiting Positive Dynamic Change, either through high unit volume growth or positive lifecycle shifts such as new products, regulations, or management. The manager may engage in active trading and concentrate a significant portion of assets within single sectors including information technology, consumer discretionary, and communication services. Because the fund's returns depend on the manager's selection of securities demonstrating promised growth potential, performance will diverge from any benchmark if those selections underperform.
