Fund profile
As filed in the prospectus · 2025 Q4
The investment objective of Bridge Builder Tax Managed Large Cap Fund (the Fund or the Large Cap Fund) is to seek to provide a tax-efficient investment return consisting of capital appreciation.
The fund allocates its assets among four sub-advisers—Barrow Hanley, ClearBridge, Parametric, and T. Rowe Price—each of which constructs a model portfolio according to its own strategy: Barrow Hanley selects undervalued companies with above-market dividend yields; ClearBridge emphasizes blue-chip growth and value stocks; Parametric manages a direct indexing strategy tracking the S&P 500 Growth and Value indices for tax efficiency; and T. Rowe Price focuses on growth companies with sustained earnings momentum. Parametric, serving as overlay manager, aggregates these models into the fund's actual portfolio and applies tax management techniques including tax loss harvesting and capital gain deferral, with authority to vary from the models for tax efficiency and risk management. The fund does not hedge currency exposure from foreign securities, though sub-advisers may consider currency risk in their processes. Because the fund's performance depends on the security selections and model portfolios provided by its sub-advisers, divergence from any sub-adviser's intended strategy could affect results.
