Fund profile
As filed in the prospectus · 2025 Q4
The iShares Paris-Aligned Climate Optimized MSCI USA ETF (the Fund ) seeks to track the investment results of an index composed of U.S. large- and mid-capitalization stocks that is designed to be compatible with the objectives of the Paris Agreement by, in aggregate, following a decarbonization trajectory, reducing exposure to climate-related transition and physical risks and increasing exposure to companies favorably positioned for the transition to a low-carbon economy.
The fund tracks the MSCI USA Climate Paris Aligned Benchmark Extended Select Index using representative sampling, holding a sample of securities designed to reduce greenhouse gas intensity by at least 50% relative to the broad U.S. market while maintaining sector exposure to climate-transition industries. The index excludes companies involved in tobacco, weapons, firearms, thermal coal, oil and gas, and severe environmental or governance controversies. Because the fund samples rather than holds all index constituents, its returns may diverge from the index.
