Fund profile
As filed in the prospectus · 2025 Q4
The funds goal is to track as closely as possible, before fees and expenses, the total return of the Schwab 1000 Index .
The fund seeks to track the Schwab 1000 Index, a float-adjusted market-cap-weighted index of the 1,000 largest U.S. publicly traded companies, by holding substantially all index constituents at index weights, though the adviser may adjust weightings for tax efficiency, liquidity, or to avoid odd-lot purchases. The fund may hold up to 10% of assets outside the index, including securities anticipated to be added to the index, other investment companies, and derivatives such as futures contracts to manage cash. Because the fund adjusts security weightings from index weights at the adviser's discretion and may not hold all index constituents, performance may diverge from the index.
