Fund profile

As filed in the prospectus · 2026 Q2

Vanguard S&P 500 Growth ETF, an exchange-traded share class of Vanguard S&P 500 Growth Index Fund (the Fund), seeks to track the performance of a benchmark index that measures the investment return of large-capitalization growth stocks in the United States.

Strategy · summarised

The fund tracks the S&P 500 Growth Index by holding all or substantially all of its constituent stocks in the same proportions as the index, which represents large-capitalization growth companies in the United States. Because the fund replicates the index rather than sampling it, its returns will closely match the index's performance. The fund may become concentrated in particular issuers or industries if the Target Index itself becomes concentrated due to market conditions or the performance of individual companies.

These classes hold the same portfolio, so the 0.23pp spread over 5 years is the cost difference between them — roughly 0.05pp a year — not a difference in what they own.

Cumulative return· Jun 2023 – Apr 2026

May 2026 has been filed since the trailing figures were struck, so it is not in the table above or the curve — every figure here shares one cut-off, which is what makes them comparable with other funds.
