Fund profile

As filed in the prospectus · 2026 Q1

Alger Spectra Fund seeks long-term capital appreciation.

Strategy · summarised

The fund invests in equity securities of companies of any size that the manager identifies as undergoing Positive Dynamic Change, either through high unit volume growth or positive lifecycle shifts such as new regulations, product innovation, or management changes. The fund may sell securities short, use leverage to purchase additional securities, and concentrate significantly in single sectors including information technology, consumer discretionary, and communication services. Because performance depends on the manager's selection of companies demonstrating promised growth that may not materialize, results will diverge from broad market returns. The fund may hold up to 15% in cash during periods of market volatility or when attractive investments are unavailable.
