Fund profile
As filed in the prospectus · 2025 Q4
The investment objective of Bridge Builder Tax Managed Small/Mid Cap Fund (the Fund or the Small/Mid Cap Fund) is to seek to provide a tax-efficient investment return consisting of capital appreciation.
The fund combines model portfolios from six sub-advisers—AllianceBernstein, Allspring, Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan, Neuberger Berman, and Parametric—with Parametric acting as overlay manager to construct a final portfolio. Parametric has authority to vary from the sub-advisers' models for tax management, including tax-loss harvesting and capital-gain deferral, and to implement the adviser's forward-looking views on portfolio characteristics. The fund does not hedge currency exposure from foreign securities, though sub-advisers may consider currency risk in their investment processes. Because portfolio construction relies on the sub-advisers' ongoing recommendations and Parametric's discretionary adjustments to those models, actual holdings may diverge from any single sub-adviser's stated approach.
