Fund profile
As filed in the prospectus · 2026 Q2
Fidelity Mid-Cap Stock Fund seeks long-term growth of capital.
The fund invests at least 80% of assets in common stocks of companies with medium market capitalizations similar to those in the Russell Midcap Index or S&P MidCap 400 Index, using fundamental analysis of financial condition, industry position, and market conditions to select holdings. The fund may also hold stocks outside the mid-cap range and may invest in domestic and foreign issuers. Because security selection depends on the manager's analysis rather than index constituents, fund performance may diverge from mid-cap benchmarks.

Share of the fund’s equity (by value) in companies whose trailing five-year revenue — or net-income — growth ranks in the top 25% of U.S. public companies.
