Fund profile
As filed in the prospectus · 2026 Q1
The funds goal is to match the total return of the Schwab 1000 Index .
The fund seeks to match the total return of the Schwab 1000 Index, a float-adjusted market-capitalization-weighted index of the 1,000 largest U.S. publicly traded companies, by holding stocks in the same weights as the index, though it may deviate from index weights to minimize trading costs, manage taxes, or address liquidity. The fund uses futures contracts and securities lending to reduce the performance gap that arises from expenses and cash holdings. Because the fund may weight individual stocks differently than the index, its returns may diverge from the index.
