The Fund seeks long-term growth of capital.
The fund uses a proprietary quantitative model to select small-capitalization U.S. equities from the Russell 2000 Index, screening for value characteristics, higher quality measured by profitability and balance sheet strength, and upward momentum in price and earnings. The model weights these three factors approximately equally and then favors securities with greater liquidity and lower volatility. Because security selection depends on the model's rankings and the fund rebalances at its discretion rather than mechanically tracking the index, performance may diverge from the Russell 2000.
